Humic Acid + Potash Liquid Fertilizer: Application Rate and Timing Guide

June 29, 2026 · Chemicides International

Our Nappier liquid humic acid blend combines 10% humic acid with 3.5% potassium oxide (K2O) in a single product, covering both soil conditioning and a meaningful potassium boost in one application — useful for growers managing multiple inputs across a large cropping area.

Early-season applications, at sowing or shortly after germination, take advantage of humic acid's root-development benefits when the plant is establishing its root system and most able to benefit from improved nutrient access.

A second application during the vegetative to early reproductive stage lines up with rising potassium demand for flowering, fruit set, and grain fill, making the combined product useful at more than one point in the season rather than as a single early treatment.

As with other liquid inputs, actual per-acre rates should be checked against the product label and adjusted for your crop, soil type, and irrigation method — sugarcane, cotton, and vegetable growers are among the most common users of a combined humic-potash liquid program.
